Hello, I'm Laura, the driving force behind Laura Harris Consulting. With over 15 years of experience in the community sector, I've devoted my career to championing Human Rights, Social Inclusion, Homelessness, and Social Housing. Throughout my journey, I've held leadership roles and managed diverse portfolios, including accreditation, marketing and communications, service development, legal compliance, digital transformation, and construction development.

My solid educational background includes an undergraduate degree in global health and a Masters of Human Rights Law, which underpin my work in creating positive change. Recently, I've completed qualifications through RMIT in Sustainability and Social Impact, as well as a postgraduate subject in Social Impact with the University of New South Wales.

Beyond being a dedicated professional, I'm also an author who finds joy in crafting stories that captivate readers. With a deep connection to my home in the incredible Alpine region, I relish bushwalking and exploring the wonders of rural and regional towns, and of course, their glorious food and wine. Cherishing time spent with my two children, I find fulfilment in cooking with my extended family, particularly when we all sit down to savour the delicious results of our collective efforts.

Through collaboration with my clients, I specialise in strategic planning, operational planning, project management, community planning, continuous quality improvement, grant writing and not-for-profit business development projects.

Established in 2022, my regional base lies amongst the peaks of Victoria’s breathtaking Alpine region, along the picturesque Murray River, and to the orchards, fields and forests of the Goulburn Valley. While rooted in our local area, I traverse Australia to cater to diverse needs.
